I work often with clients that need support in conceiving. Here I work with each individual or couple to create the optimum health to achieve a pregnancy.
My programs consist of herbal, nutritional and homoeopathic medicine to help address any blocks any to conception. I encourage the use of standard testing and treatments from your GP or Gynaecologist, and I work with these tests as well to help unfold the best support I can offer. The types of cases I normally work with include those undergoing assisted reproductive technology programs (IVF, ICSI and IUI), those wishing to do natural fertility methods- including conception and contraception, pre-conception care programs and those undergoing donor cycles. I work in an evidence- based approach where appropriate, and I still incorporate traditional medicines where they may be of use.
I also work with women that would like to learn more about their menstrual cycle, or suffer from diseases such as;
PCOS
endometriosis
uterine fibroids
ammenorrhea
delayed ovulation
long luteal cycles
PMS
increased FSH
menopause and the associated symptoms
dysmenorrhoea and painful periods
I often recommend the use of an Acupuncture as evidence has shown an increase success in egg transfer when acupuncture is being used concurrently.
I have an interest in working with clients that have suffered from, or are still suffering from an eating disorder or an unhealthy relationship with food.
My programs consist of emotional and practical support for regaining a safe relationship with food and self. I will use all tools from my toolkit depending on what is safest and most effective for you as the client.
I often prefer to work in weekly or fortnightly sessions at the beginning, so I do make price accommodations for such.
Before we start our work together, it is important that you are also under the care of a GP, so that they can keep an eye on your physical safety as well throughout the process. I am happy to work with those under the age of 18 as long as they have written consent from their parents and are under the care of a primary health care practitioner in which I have permission to liase with.
